Gifted // Simply Appreciate
Gifted is a startup that believes in “the power of presents”.
They’ve created a simple way to show recognition for a job well done, reward a hard working employee, or thank a loyal customer.
By providing a platform for people to show gratitude, no matter how big or small, they’ve shown how easy it can be to make someone’s day, week, or even year, with a little appreciation.
After Gifted brought us fully up to speed on what they were trying to do, we knew that positivity and emotion had to take the front seat. At the core of their motivations was simple human nature: we all want to be seen, recognized, and appreciated.
It's something that is inherently human; and this motivated us to tell their story in a simple, lighthearted, and relatable way that matched their ethos.

We told the story of two employees, and painted a picture that juxtaposed their "above-and-beyond" work mentality with how they unwind.
The Kickboxer
Christine goes from friendly customer service rep to badass kickboxer, who packs a mean punch that would make anyone break a sweat.
The Manicured Marshaller
Kyle goes from tenacious Airport Marshall loading up the plane, to taking a load off with a visit to the salon.
The Teacher
Finally, as a gift to show our own appreciation for the Gifted team, we surprised them with a third video telling the story of the Teacher who unwinds from the chaos of his third grade classroom with a pair of noise cancelling headphones and some rock and roll. We wanted to make sure we embodied their motto within our own team: “Simply appreciate”.
